Terms of Service

Gamestead is a product of Full Uproar Games, Inc., South Bend, Indiana.
The short version
Gamestead helps people plan, host, and attend game nights. Be a decent guest, host honestly, don't misuse the service, and the rest of this page is details. Your account is your Passport (an Afterroar identity); its own terms also apply. If you host in a business capacity or claim a venue, the Host Agreement and the business agreements you sign in those flows apply on top of this.
Using Gamestead
You may use Gamestead if you can form a binding agreement where you live. Accounts are for people, one each; you are responsible for what happens under yours. Guests can join a night with just a name; a name-only guest record belongs to the night's record, not to an account, until it is claimed by signing in.
Nights, hosts, and guests
Hosts control their own nights: who is invited, capacity, house rules, and whether a night is private or public. Public nights require a verified host. RSVPs, check-ins, seats, game results, and postgames are records of the night, visible to the people the night makes them visible to. Gamestead is not a party to what happens at a night; hosts and venues are responsible for their spaces and events, and guests for their own conduct.
Your content
Names, night details, messages, suggestions, bring-list items, and postgame text belong to whoever wrote them. You give Full Uproar Games a license to store, display, and transmit that content as needed to run the service — showing an RSVP to a host, a postgame to the people who were there — and for nothing else. Don't post content that is illegal, harassing, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.
What you may not do
No scraping or harvesting other people's information; no impersonation; no attempts to break, probe, or overload the service; no using Gamestead to spam or to send messages people didn't ask for; no reselling access. We can suspend or remove accounts, nights, or content that break these terms or put people at risk, and we will tell you when we do unless safety or law prevents it.
Paid plans
Some tools are paid (Pro for people, an org plan for venues and clubs). Prices are shown before you pay; subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep the plan through the period you paid for. Nothing you created is deleted when a plan ends; paid tools become read-only where that is honest. Free Pro-night credits and trials are described where they are offered and have no cash value.
The service
Gamestead is provided as it is, without warranties, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, Full Uproar Games' liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last twelve months or one hundred dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Disputes, governing law
Indiana law governs these terms. Before formal action, contact us and give us thirty days to work it out: legal@fulluproar.com. Formal disputes belong to the state or federal courts of Indiana.
Changes and contact
