Why we charge $2.50. Identity verification isn't free for us — the ID check itself costs money. Charging attendees keeps hosts out of the middle of it, keeps the platform sustainable, and means we're not selling anyone's data to pay for the service. Fee is one-time; every subsequent event you RSVP to (verified or not) uses the same credential.
Before we hand you off
- Stripe collects a selfie + government-ID photo to verify your identity.
- Stripe (not Full Uproar) processes + stores the biometric identifier.
- Stripe retains and destroys per its policy. We do not sell or lease your biometric data.
